February 2018 Workshop Breakout Groups

Overview: The workshop featured two sessions for breakout discussions. Participants were encouraged to join either the agriculture or ecology breakout group depending on which one they thought most closely described their research interests. The atmospheric modelers were encouraged to distribute themselves between the two groups. The participants were directed discuss four questions.  Before the second breakout session, participants were encouraged to switch groups so that some ideas transferred between groups.

Ecology Breakout Group:

The ecology breakout group focused discussions identifying: 1) current expertise, 2) missing expertise or missing linkages between research topics, and 3) potential speakers for a follow-up event.

Below, you will find some of the written material that the group created. Further, a full outline of the discussion can be viewed here.
